Today begins the Year of the Dragon, which is a big deal in my family because it also marks my dad’s 72nd year, or 6th cycle as a dragon. We keep hoping he will make good on his threat and finally retire from his beloved profession as educator–and spend more time as a writer…and blogger.

Yes, today I’m announcing that we’re finally going live with boomersrama.com, which is a project I’ve been wanting to do with my parents for a very long time. Right now it may still sound like a science experiment in my head, but once we get going there, I think it’ll be a very cool way to showcase how awesome my parents are.
