NAi

September 2nd, 2009

The Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi) is both a museum and cultural center.  It is the first place we’ll visit inside Rotterdam’s Museumpark.

Designed by Jo Coenen, the NAI is an important library of architectural archives, publications, and exhibits. It is an impressive research facility as well as a forum for lectures and symposiums.  It would be awesome to come to work here every day, to be inspired by the building itself. Why didn’t I become an architect!

How do you like the giant metal daisies?

Can’t wait to cross this bridge and see what’s on the other side…

…but I don’t suppose you’d want to see the archives, so I’ll deposit you out here to enjoy the grounds.

We’ll meet up in a couple of hours across the street…
